Salvation Army offers drive-thru pantry services during pandemic

NORFOLK, Va. - The Salvation Army announces it will now offer a drive-thru food pantry in response to modifications being made during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Salvation Army says it will now offer a drive-thru pantry service located at 5525 Ray Road, Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Drivers are asked to pull to the side door of The Salvation Army Area Command and present a valid I.D. to receive a prepared food package.

The Salvation Army says it is also in crucial need of donations to assist with relief efforts.
