HAMPTON ROADS - All Sentara Health drive-thru coronavirus screening and testing locations have closed until further notice.

Sentara said they are working to launch in-house testing for Hampton Roads at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital within the next week.

They are dependent on commercial labs right now which have large volumes of need, which lead to the drive-thru closures.

Because of the high volumes, Sentara said there have been delays in receiving and communicating test results to patients. Commercial labs had to increase the number of days people would get their results to 10 days or more.

As of Tuesday morning, Virginia has 1,250 confirmed coronavirus cases and 27 deaths from the virus.
