Vice President Mike Pence tested negative for coronavirus after his Press Secretary became the second person in the president's administration to test positive.

This comes as another state prepares to reopen its economy on Monday.

Here in Virginia, Phase One of reopening is expected to start on Friday. In North Carolina, Phase One started a few days ago.

This is just the very beginning of what could be a long process to get the local economies running again.

On Monday, Arizona becomes the latest state to allow restaurants to at least partially reopen.

Some of the top health experts in the administration, including Doctor Anthony Fauci, are now self-quarantining and working from home.

The administration is now watching states that are reopening as one of the models for coronavirus increased its projected death toll.

"Explosive increases in mobility in a number of states that we expect will translate into more cases and deaths, you know, in 10 days from now." Christopher Murray, M.D., IHME Director.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin appeared on television over the weekend saying we're looking at potential permanent economic damage if the economy doesn't reopen.
