SUFFOLK, Va. - One church in Suffolk is taking action to make sure people are fed during this difficult time.
Members of the Church of God and Saints of Christ - Temple Beth El provided free dinner Monday and Wednesday. They gave out the food drive-thru style, with up to four people getting food in each car.
"[It’s] first-come, first-serve. We will be donating 120 meals. They usually line up around 2:15; the meals are given out around 3 o'clock. And like I said, we finish in about 10, no more than 15 minutes," said Ezra Locke, pastor and superintendent.
Monday's meal was provided by Totoy's, and Wednesday's was from Decent People.
