VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - They're teeing up and driving towards the pin at Top Golf. Monday marked reopening day at the Virginia Beach location.

"It's been a long, long four months, but people are ready. Today we already had 96 reservations." said Dan Glasser, Director of Operations.

The popular golf destination closed all of its locations across the nation in March.

"We are back and we have instituted tons of new policies and procedures in our commitment to play safely," said Glasser.

Swinging safely is now what you will find at the three story entertainment venue.

"We are naturally socially distant from hitting pad to hitting pad we are 11 feet apart," he said. "We have upped our bay turn times to 8 minutes making sure everything is disinfected and it can adhere to surfaces."

Every iron, putter, wedge, screen and surface is up to par. Crews working overtime to keep all the hazards away.

"We even have roaming porters disinfecting high touch point areas such as elevators, bathrooms and railings," Glasser said.

New vinyl partitions are also hung floor to ceiling between bays, and bays now only allow six people inside as opposed to eight.

"Masks are mandatory while walking around in lobby and common areas and in the main bar and common area spaces we have reduced max occupancy by half," he said.

Safety now a hole in one for avid golfers who have anxiously awaited to hit the range.

"We are outdoors, so our bays give the community some sense of normalcy again and also we were able to bring back close to 400 jobs," said Glasser.
