Doctor Angela Reddix started a giveaway during the coronavirus pandemic.
She gave away 20 female small business owners more than two thousand dollars, totaling a little over $40,000.
They celebrated on Wednesday, which was Reddix's birthday, at Mount Trashmore.
They wanted to mark how far women have come in making a name for themselves in the business world.
“This represents hope. This represents possibilities. This represents if we can just believe in each other and use a little bit of our gifts to help others we are building a much stronger community,” Reddix said.
Doctor Reddix says this was a chance to show strength.
And she is confident in the future of women business owners making a name for themselves.
