VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - An investigation is underway after a person was shot, police confirmed Tuesday morning.
Officers say the scene in located in the 3900 Block of Muddy Creek Road. The victim is being transported to the hospital for his injuries.
The Virginia Beach Police Department tweeted about an hour ago that this was still an active scene.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time, but more information will be released as it becomes available.
