Virginia Beach Police searching for armed robbery suspect

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Virginia Beach Police Department is searching for a suspect accused of robbing someone at gunpoint and stealing their credit card.

According to police, on June 29, 2020, the suspect approached a victim and displayed a firearm, demanding cash. The suspect ultimately obtained the victim's credit card.

Pictures above show the suspect as a passenger in a vehicle, utilizing the victim's credit card to make a gas purchase a short time later in Norfolk. The driver also attempted to make a purchase at a McDonald’s in Norfolk.

Use caution if you locate the vehicle or suspect, as the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say the vehicle appears to be possibly a newer model blue Honda Accord. The suspect is a black male standing between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 160 and 175 pounds.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black flat-brimmed Jordan hat with a sticker in the middle of the brim, a black short-sleeved shirt with blue writing on it and faded blue/white jeans.
