WARSAW, Va. - Discover the essential relationship that exists between humans and honeybees and what can be done to protect and support them!
Rappahannock Community College’s Rappahannock Institute for Lifelong Learning will feature “Honeybees: A Look Inside and Outside the Hive” March 25, April 1 and 8, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at RCC’s Kilmarnock Center.
Bees are the great pollinators but their numbers are declining. Yuou can join Catherine Bennett, co-founder of the Northern Neck Beekeeper Club, as she shows you inside and outside the hive. Learn how bees interact and work within their hive and how to create habitats conducive to bees. Attendees will also learn why bees are important - and it's not just for honey.
