NORFOLK, Va. - What are you going to do when this is over?

It's a question many of us have thought about over the past few days and weeks, and it's the focus of a new video released by Visit Norfolk.

Most of the responses were just about getting back to ordinary life: grabbing a cup of coffee at a local coffee shop, getting back to work, going out to eat with family.

For one nurse - just getting a nap.

News 3 anchor Erica Greenway spoke with Visit Norfolk President Kurt Krause about the video and its message.

Krause says the first time he saw the finished piece, he cried.

"I mean, the nurse who said, 'I just want to take a nap' and then just kind of stumbled on the rest of her words. Jack Ankerson, who is the voice of all the sports in Norfolk, came out and just said, 'Go to an event.' The energy that people are looking for and can’t wait to feel when this is all over and we can get back to gathering - it was more emotional than I ever thought it would be."

Krause says he hopes this reminds people that we will get through this.

"It will take some time. It will take some patience, but we are resilient. Norfolk has had a history - I mean going way back - a wonderful history of being resilient, coming back and thriving better than ever. This, too, will show how great this city is and it’s a fantastic city," said Krause.
