White shark 'Caroline' pings off coast of Kitty Hawk

A white shark being tracked by OCEARCH pinged close to shore near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

According to a tweet from OCEARCH, "Caroline" has been quickly making her way north over the past few days.

Caroline, a 12-foot, 9-inch sub-adult shark, was first tagged in 2019 near Hilton Head, South Carolina. In the past 103 days, she's traveled 4,837 miles.
