WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - A local physical therapist is helping people stay fit during this pandemic.

Core Fitness in Williamsburg has been offering free online classes called "Inspire to Perspire 19.” The virtual classes are helping people stay active and healthy even as gyms across the region are closed.
Using his teenage son as a fitness model, the owner and his 17-year-old are working together to help the community stay fit.

“What challenges with the pandemic going on, I know a lot of people have lost their routine, especially exercise and in our facility as well, their rehabilitation. So, in order to stay connected, keep people upbeat, positive, to have something to look forward to, I came up with ‘Inspire to Perspire,’” said Sasha Digges, the owner of Peak Physical Therapy and Core Fitness.

“I'm just trying to stay fit and have fun. Doing it with my dad is great; [I’m] having a lot of fun. Definitely to inspire others as well,” his son added.
