CHESAPEAKE, Va. - In this week's Hiking Hampton Roads, sports reporter Megan Plain explores the Chesapeake Arboretum in Chesapeake, Virginia.
According to the park's website, it is a 48-acre “Nature's Classroom” that promotes horticultural and environmental awareness through displays, education and research. The trail system is color-blazed and wood-chip mulched throughout, and the trails total approximately 3.5 miles.
