VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - In this week's Hiking Hampton Roads, sports reporter Megan Plain explores Pleasure House Point Natural Area in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
According to the park's website, it's home to 118 acres of water, tidal marsh, sandy shores and maritime forest.
This location was considered for a waterfront developed, but was saved by local residents and organization that wanted to preserve what is one of the largest undeveloped parcels of land on the Lynnhaven River.
