SMITHFIELD, Va. - In this week's Hiking Hampton Roads, sports reporter Megan Plain explores Windsor Castle Park.
The park contains 3.8 miles of walking trails and bridges that wind through wooded areas. It includes four different habitats: marsh, forest, open fields and creeks.
According to the park's website, it was originally part of a 1,450 acre parcel patented in 1637 by Arthur Smith, an ancestor to the Town's founder, Arthur Smith IV.
