VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - With their victory vs. Denver Sunday night, the Kansas City Chiefs clinched a playoff berth. The win ensures the team will have a chance to defend its Super Bowl title. However, as Kansas City solidified its ticket on the road back to the Super Bowl - Derrick Nnadi also shined a light on Hampton Roads: where he's from.

Nnadi, an Ocean Lakes High School alumnus, wore custom designed cleats as part of the NFL's My Cause My Cleats initiative. The shoes, designed by DEZ Customz Art and Customs, pay tribute to Nnadi's hometown of Virginia Beach. They also call attention to social justice.

The cleats will be auctioned off by the NFL. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Derrick Nnadi Foundation. It's the second straight year Nnadi has spotlighted his hometown with his custom kicks.

Last year, Nnadi's cleats were for the Virginia Beach Tragedy Fund.
