CHICAGO - Hampton native and Minnesota Twins center fielder Jake Cave gives his team a grand start to Sunday's matchup against the Chicago White Sox.

In the top of the first inning, the Kecoughtan High School product steps up to the plate with two outs and bases loaded. After taking the first pitch for a ball he blasts the next one to left field for a grand slam, giving the Twins a 4-0 lead in the first.

Cave was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 6th round of the 2011 MLB June Amateur Draft from Kecoughtan High School.

He was traded to the Twins in 2018, the same year he made his Major League debut.
