Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Near normal temperatures and a chance to dry out… After a soggy and gloomy Sunday, we will dry out and see more sunshine today. Highs will reach the mid to upper 40s today, near normal for this time of year. It will be a bit breezy this morning, but winds will relax through the day.
More clouds will build in for Tuesday with a few spotty showers possible. Highs will return to the mid and upper 40s. Expect mostly sunny skies Wednesday with highs in the upper 40s. Winds will kick up for midweek.
Our next big weather system will move in on Friday, as an area of low pressure tracks over the Carolinas. Expect rain showers Friday, mainly in the afternoon to evening. Temperatures will drop to the low and mid 30s overnight and we could see a change over from rain to a wintry mix. The wintry mix could linger into Saturday morning.
