Meteorologist April Loveland's First Warning Forecast

Temperatures will dip into the upper 30s tonight under mostly cloudy skies.

High pressure will build in Monday with a few breaks in the clouds. A disturbance will move through the area by the afternoon. Not expecting any rain, but will continue to see clouds around. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s, which is close to normal for this time of year. Temperatures will cool to the mid 30s overnight.

Another disturbance will move in on Tuesday. There won't be a whole lot of moisture associated with it, so just kept a slight 20 percent chance for an isolated shower, otherwise expect more clouds than sunshine. Highs will be similar to Monday in the mid and upper 40s.

High pressure will build in for Wednesday and Thursday with dry conditions and the most sunshine that we've seen in awhile. Highs will once again warm to the upper 40s. Wednesday will be a bit breezy with a cold wind out of the northwest at 10-15 with gusts up to 20 mph possible. This will make temperatures feel even colder. The week as a whole, temperature-wise, is looking very seasonable. Our normal high for this time of year is 48 degrees.

Friday and Saturday are looking a bit unsettled. An area of low pressure will approach with increasing rain chances on Friday. We could see a bit of a wintry mix along with the rain, especially inland. Temperatures will warm to the mid 40s. Winds will be out of the northeast at 10-15 mph. As the system pulls away Friday night and early Saturday, we could see a brief changeover to a wintry mix or snow. We are still days out, and the models are in disagreement, so keeping chances low for a changeover. Looks like we'll dry out for Sunday with highs in the mid 40s.
