Meteorologist April Loveland's First Warning Forecast
Skies will turn partly cloudy overnight and temperatures will drop into the 20s. This is where we could run into some issues. Any wet roads or untreated surfaces could turn icy. We will have to watch out for any black ice early Monday morning.

After a frigid start Monday, skies will turn mostly sunny. The sun will be deceptive as temperatures will only warm to the upper 30s to low 40s. A few degrees warmer in North Carolina.
Milder weather moves in for Tuesday with highs in the mid 50s with a chance of showers by the afternoon as a cold front move in.
Colder behind the front on Wednesday. Expect highs in the low 40s under mostly cloudy skies. There will be a bit of the breezy out of the northeast at 10-15 mph.
Unsettled weather moves in for Thursday. Expect rain at times as an area of low pressure moves in. Highs will be in the mid 40s. We could see a little bit of a wintry mix as well. Highs in the upper 40s to end the work week with scattered showers possible for the first part of the day.
The daytime hours on Saturday should be dry with precipitation chances increasing overnight and Sunday as an area of low pressure moves in. Right now, looks like we could see a rain/snow mix for Sunday. It will be cold with highs struggling to get out of the 30s.
