First Warning Forecast:
Highs will return to near 90 today with even more humidity.

Afternoon heat index values will reach the mid to upper 90s. We will see a mix of sun and clouds today with scattered showers and storms popping up this afternoon, especially inland. Winds will also pick up today, south at 10 to 15 with gusts to near 25 mph.

We are tracking a cold front that will bring us a bigger chance for rain and storms tomorrow. Strong to severe storms are possible Thursday afternoon to evening. The biggest threats will be gusty winds and heavy downpours. Warm and muggy conditions will continue with highs in the mid 80s. It will feel like the low 90s tomorrow afternoon.

The cold front will stall out along the Mid-Atlantic coast, keeping us in an unsettled weather pattern for several days. We will see a mix of sun and clouds with scattered showers and storms Friday, through the weekend, and into early next week. High temperatures will drop to the low 80s, near normal for this time of year, but it will still be muggy.
