KJ's First Warning Forecast: High heat and humidity this weekend.
90s Saturday with heat index values in the mid to upper 90s and just as hot Sunday as humidity ramps up. We'll continue to see sunshine Saturday despite a few more clouds mixing in during the afternoon with a stray shower chance. However, an approaching system will bring our next best chance of scattered showers and storms late Sunday afternoon to evening. Some storms could be strong to severe with strong winds and heavy rain.
An unsettled weather pattern into next as the front stalls nearby. Plan ahead for ongoing shower and storm chances albeit not widespread. Highs will be limited to the mid/upper 80s into the first of July.
