Mild overnight with lows in the mid 60s. Skies will be partly cloudy. Some dense fog is possible along the Eastern Shore especially overnight.

Record-challenging heat is on tap to end the work week. Highs in the low to mid 80s possible. The record high in Norfolk is 84 set back in 1948. Expect a mix of sun and clouds. It will be on the breezy side with winds out of the southwest at 15-25 mph and gusts up to 30 mph. Showers will build in Friday night, ahead of a cold front set to move through on Saturday.

Showers will move in overnight Friday and into the day Saturday. It won't be a total washout though.

Temperatures will start in the low 60s Saturday morning and fall into the mid 50s by the afternoon.

Sunday will be the coolest day of the week with temperatures struggling to reach 50 degrees.

More wet weather will move in Monday, with an unsettled weather stretch through Wednesday.
