Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Warmer with another rain/storm chance… We will start with sunshine this morning, but clouds will build in by midday. Expect scattered showers and storms this afternoon to early evening. Some storms could be strong to severe with gusty winds and heavy downpours. Temperatures will warm to the low and mid 70s today, about 15 degrees warmer than yesterday afternoon. Winds will pick up again today, mainly SW at 10 to 20 with gusts to 30 mph.
Wednesday will be sunny and cooler. Highs will only reach the mid 60s, about 5 degrees below normal for this time of year. Expect sunshine all day with winds relaxing.
Thursday will be another soggy day. We will see mostly cloudy skies with rain building in through the morning to midday. Expect widespread rain Thursday afternoon and evening. Rain will continue overnight and into Friday morning. Skies will clear Friday afternoon. Highs will linger near normal, in the low 70s for Thursday and Friday.
