Meteorologist April Loveland's First Warning Forecast
Skies will clear overnight with lows in the low 70s.
The cold front that brought us storms will bring a tiny bit of relief on Tuesday. Highs will warm to the upper 80s. Should stay mostly dry on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure will be in the area. Keeping a slight 20-25 percent chance though for a stray shower or storm. Skies will be mostly clear Tuesday and Wednesday night, which may be a good time to see if you can catch Comet Neowise shortly after sunset. Just look toward the northwestern sky, just below the Big Dipper.
Storm chances will increase by Friday and Saturday as a few disturbances move through the area. Humidity will once again be on the rise with heat index values ranging from 100-105 degrees. Even better chances to see some wet weather by Sunday. Temperatures will continue to trend above normal with highs in the low 90s.
