Meteorologist April Loveland's First Warning Forecast
A mild day on tap with highs in the low and mid 70s. A cold front will move through which will give us a chance for some afternoon storms. The Storm Prediction Center has a portion of the area under a Level 1 for severe weather. That means an isolated severe storm is not out of the question. The biggest threat will be damaging wind gusts. The best time to see storms will be between 2 pm and 6 pm. We'll dry out and clear out this evening and overnight. Temperatures will fall into the low and mid 40s.
Wednesday will be the pick of the week. It is also Earth Day! Expect highs in the low and mid 60s under mostly sunny skies.
Another area of low pressure will move in by Thursday night and Friday bringing rain to the area. Temperatures will top out in the low and mid 70s. The unsettled weather pattern will continue right into the weekend.
