Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

More sunshine and a step warmer… We will see more sunshine today with highs in the low to mid 50s, just above normal for this time of year. Winds will kick up today, west to NW at 10 to 20 with gusts to near 30 mph. Winds will relax tonight with mainly clear skies and lows in the 30s.

Highs will return to the low to mid 50s tomorrow. We will start with sunshine but clouds will build in through the day.

Rain moves in and winds ramp up on Christmas Eve. Showers will build in Thursday with the biggest rain chances Thursday night. A strong to severe storm is possible with heavy rain and gusty winds. It will be windy all day with south winds reaching 15 to 25 and gusts to 35 mph. Highs will warm to the mid and upper 60s.

Rain should move out before the sun comes up Friday morning. It will still be windy, west at 10 to 20 with gusts to 30 mph. Highs will only reach the low 40s.

Tonight: Mainly Clear. Lows in the mid 30s. Winds: N 5-10

Tomorrow: Increasing Clouds. Highs in the mid 50s. Winds: NE/SE 5-10
