Meteorologist April Loveland's First Warning Forecast
After some sunshine today, we're tracking another disturbance that will move through giving us a chance for more showers and possible storms by late this evening and overnight. It will be mild with lows in the 60s
Expect showers and possible storms at least for the first part of Saturday and another chance by the afternoon. Temperatures will warm to near 80 degrees.
Finally, some sunshine and drier weather move in on Sunday as high pressure takes over. It will unfortunately be much cooler with highs in the upper 60s along the coast and into the 70s inland due to an onshore wind.
Memorial Day is looking dry and cool with highs near 70. Our normal high for Memorial Day is around 80 degrees. Our record high is 94, set back in 1895. Even though it will be cooler, it won't be the coolest on record. Our coldest high temperature was 61 degrees set back in 1930.
