Meteorologist April Loveland's First Warning Forecast
Tonight will be colder with lows in the low 30s under mostly clear skies.
Thursday will be the sunniest day of the week with dry conditions and highs in the mid 40s. Clouds will start to build in overnight ahead of the next storm system. Expect lows in the low 30s.
Our next big weather system will move in on Friday, as an area of low pressure tracks over the Carolinas. Expect mostly rain showers Friday, with a few flakes possible early in the day. Temperatures will drop to the low and mid 30s overnight and we could see a change over from rain to a wintry mix. The wintry mix could linger into Saturday morning. Otherwise, expect clearing skies on Saturday with highs in the low and mid 40s. Sunday will feature plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid 40s.
Another disturbance will approach to start the work week bringing us a chance for showers late Monday and into the day Tuesday. A little wintry mix is possible early Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid and upper 40s.
