Meteorologist April Loveland's First Warning Forecast

A slight chance of a lingering shower or storm overnight, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with lows in low 70s.

Temperatures will warm to the mid 80s on Thursday, but it will feel more like the low 90s thanks to the humidity. Skies will be mostly sunny, with a slight chance of an afternoon shower or storm.

Expect mostly sunny skies on Friday with low rain chances. Highs will warm to the low 90s but it will feel more like the mid and upper 90s by the afternoon.

Very summer-like for the Fourth of July weekend. Expect highs near 90 on Saturday and in the mid 80s on Sunday. We will see partly cloudy skies with the chance of afternoon scattered showers and storms. Even though we have the chance to see some wet weather, it won't be a complete washout. Just keep an eye on the sky and your News 3 app handy!

Our pattern of heat and afternoon storms will continue into next week. Expect highs in the mid and upper 80s with the chance of scattered afternoon showers and storms.
