KJ's First Warning Forecast

Warm and muggy with more storms… A similar weather day with party cloudy skies along with afternoon pop-up showers and storms. A thunderstorm is possible but severe weather is not expected today. Highs will reach the low to mid 80s, near normal for this time of year.

Plenty of dry time for your outdoor weekend plans.. Just be aware of afternoon shower and storm chances especially during the prime heating of the day. A quick downpour is certain possible both Saturday and Sunday with decreasing storm chances later into the evening.

The first full week of summer next week is expected to deliver on the heat. Highs near 90 with heat index values several degrees above the actual air temperature with some spots inland closer to 100 for Monday and Tuesday afternoons. In addition, a pop-up shower or storm will be possible.
