The tug-of-war between spring and winter continues. And that means we can expect more wild temperature swings over the next few days.
A stationary front to our south will move north as a warm front overnight. That means we will wake up to scattered showers for your Friday morning commute. But those should move out pretty quickly. A gusty southwest wind behind it that warm front will send temperatures soaring. Most of us will make it at least into the mid 70s and some of us may even hit the 80 degree mark!
But chillier weather will be coming back with a vengeance this weekend. Late Friday and early on Saturday a powerful cold front will cross the region. Expect high temperatures on Saturday 20 degrees colder. And it gets even cooler for the second half of the weekend. Many of us may not make it out of the 40s on Sunday. On top of that we can expect scattered showers, especially Sunday morning.
And that is the beginning of an unsettled weather pattern for next week. Expect up-and-down temperatures and a decent chance for rain all the way through the workweek.
