First Warning Forecast:

More rain, even some snowflakes on the way this weekend.

Bright blue skies to kick off the weekend with highs near 52 and light winds. Tonight, more clouds and even an isolated shower. Rain and snow will move in overnight Saturday into Sunday morning due to a low pressure system. A subtle shift in the forecast track will make a difference in what actually falls in here locally. The best snow chances are just to our north and northwest near Interstate 95 and the peninsulas. A dusting to an inch is possible for parts of our area.

Meanwhile, upwards of an inch of rain is possible with localized higher amounts. Showers are expected to taper off by early afternoon Sunday. Winter returns with a vengeance next week... Very cold air with highs near 36 coupled with a storm system may lay the groundwork for measurable snow Thursday and Friday.
