The heat continues into the weekend!
Temperatures are flying higher than normal again today with most areas reaching the low/mid 90s. The heat may become unbearable for many people once heat index rise above 100 degrees at 3 p.m. during the hottest part of the day.
Shower and storm chances may pump the breaks on the steady rise in heat if rain does come to fruition. Isolated rain chances this afternoon with slightly higher chances for scattered showers and storms later this afternoon into early evening.
Extreme heat will likely spill over into Monday and Tuesday with feels-like temperatures expected to reach 110 Tuesday. Big changes are in sight as we catch a break from the overwhelming high heat and humidity by next Friday... Upper 80s have never looked so good!
