Dry and comfortable weather is coming for the second half of the weekend, but first expect storms to continue for Saturday afternoon.
A few storms may become strong to severe with a couple of them capable of causing wind damage. This last batch of storm will also produce heavy rainfall similar to the past few days. Some areas may deal with localized flooding.
A southerly flow will keep us warm and muggy this muggy this morning ahead of those afternoon storms. Expect highs to reach the low/mid 80s across the area. The approaching cold front will cross the area later today, so expect the best shower and storm chances along the cold front. Clearing sky conditions should follow close behind for tonight into Sunday with only a stray shower possible.
Sunday is going to be quite pleasant and inviting for your outdoor plans with low 70s, sunshine and less humid. Low rain chances will continue into early next week followed up with high heat and humidity by late week.
