Local martial arts studio offers free virtual lessons during COVID-19 shutdown

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - King Tiger Martial Arts is currently offering free interactive martial arts program that allows students to train from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program is free of charge to current students and the company is offering one free month of online lessons to new students.

“While Virginia Beach kids, parents and families are learning and working from home, we’re committed to keeping them active, engaged and entertained,” says 6th degree black belt Geoffrey Cielo, Headmaster/Chief Instructor founder of King Tiger Martial Arts, Inc.

The virtual Martial Arts platform includes video tutorials of forms and combos, live virtual belt-rank classes, fitness challenges, leadership lessons and homework, Mat Chats on teamwork and keeping up a positive attitude at home.

“It’s designed as a comprehensive curriculum for mental and physical fitness,” says Cielo. “It’s a channel for staying in a positive state of mind during this emergency.”

The school teaches self-defense and curriculum based on the systems developed by Dojunim/Founder Ji Han Jae, the “Father of Modern Hapkido.”
