VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police are still looking for a monkey and its owner after the monkey bit a child at the Oceanfront.
Police say they received a call on August 3 at around 10:30 p.m. reporting that a monkey had bitten a child in the 2300 block of Atlantic Avenue.
An Animal Control Officer responded and started an investigation.
However, the monkey and its owner immediately fled the area after the bite occurred.
