and last updated

The First Warning Storm Team is tracking windy and cooler weather.

A few lingering showers overnight. Winds will pick up. We’re expecting winds to blow in from the north between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts to 30 + mph. Those winds will help usher in some chilly weather tonight, with lows by early Thursday morning in the mid 40s. High pressure will build in tonight from the west and into Friday.

Heading into Thursday, we’re expecting windy conditions, especially in the first part of the day. A few clouds are possible in the morning. Otherwise, we’ll see plenty of sunshine heading into the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 50s, but winds from the northwest between 10 and 20 mph will make it feel a bit cooler. Winds will ease up a bit by late afternoon.

A milder day for Veterans Day. High temperatures will climb into the mid 60s under mostly sunny skies. However, another cold front will dive into the area out of Canada, bringing some of the coldest air of the season in our direction. Highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s on Saturday. Overnight lows will dip into the mid 30s by Sunday morning. Then, by Sunday afternoon, we’ll see highs in the mid and upper 50s.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. A few lingering showers. Windy. Lows in the mid 40s. Winds: N 15-25 mph, gusts to 30 mph.

Thursday: A few clouds. Cool and windy. Highs in the upper 50s. Winds: NW 10-20 mph, gusts to 25 mph.

Veterans Day: Mostly sunny and warmer. Highs in the mid 60s. Winds: W 5-15 mph.
