HAMPTON ROADS, Va. — It's that time of year again! On Saturday, hundreds of volunteers from around the community gathered at three separate locations to unload and distribute over 900,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.
The cookies were distributed to 373 local troops in Hampton Roads, ready to sell to the community!
Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs and more have made their way back to the area for the always anticipated Girl Scout cookie season.
The annual cookie "Count n' Go" event is held by Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast, and brings together local volunteers and Girl Scouts to kick off everyone's favorite season in Hampton Roads and the Outer Banks.
Booths opened on Sunday, so next time you're out keep a look out for your favorite treat!
