Meteorologist April Loveland's First Warning Forecast
Widespread rain will continue through this evening. Temperatures will be cooler with highs in the upper 50s to near 60. We'll dry out tonight with lows in the 40s.
Tuesday will be milder with highs in the low and mid 70s. A cold front will move through which will give us a chance for some afternoon storms. The Storm Prediction Center has a portion of the area under a Level 1 for severe weather. That means an isolated severe storm is not out of the question. The biggest threat will be damaging wind gusts.
Wednesday will be the pick of the week. It is also Earth Day! Expect highs in the mid 60s under mostly sunny skies.
Another area of low pressure will move in by Thursday night and Friday bringing rain to the area. Temperatures will top out in the low and mid 70s.
