The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Thursday, there are now 106,893 cases, 1,188 people hospitalized and 1,726 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,892 new cases and 28 additional deaths from Wednesday. There were 51 additional hospitalizations reported from Wednesday.
A total of 1,523,675 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina. There were 31,855 new tests counted for in Thursday number.
