Man shot to death on Chestnut St. in Portsmouth

Police are investigating a shooting that killed a man early Sunday morning.
On Sunday, police said that around 2:15 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Garfield Street. However, they have since updated the address to the 2400 block of Chestnut Street.
When officer arrived, they found a man dead from gunshot wounds.
There is no suspect information at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation.
