PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A 13-year-old boy injured in a shooting in Portsmouth earlier this week has died, according to police.
Police responded to a call for a shooting in the 1500 block of Atlanta Avenue on Monday around 3:20 p.m. Officers found a teen with a gunshot wound. The juvenile was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police say this is an active investigation.
