PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Police in Portsmouth are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Sunday night.
It happened around 6:20 p.m. in the 2300 block of Victory Boulevard, near Bird Lane, police said.
First responders found a man who had been shot. He died at the scene.
Police did not release details about the victim's identity or what led up to the shooting.
