PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Airline Boulevard on Tuesday.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 2700 block of Airline Blvd. at 9:44 a.m.

There they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.

This is an ongoing investigation.
