PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man is seriously hurt following a shooting in Portsmouth Tuesday afternoon, according to the city's police department.
Officers were sent to the 200 block of Broad Street around 12:17 p.m., police say. There, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital by medics, and police say his injuries are life-threatening.
The shooting is still under investigation, police say.
