PORTSMOUTH, Va. — One man is in the hospital after being shot at the Wilcox Avenue and Elm Avenue intersection, according to Portsmouth police.
On Friday night, around 7:30 p.m., Portsmouth police arrived at the intersection of Wilcox Avenue and Elm Avenue on the report of a shooting. Officials found one man who had been shot, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
