Portsmouth police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured early Friday morning.
Officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 2500 block of Victory Boulevard around 1:53 a.m., according to police.
We're told when officers arrived at the scene, they found one male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics transported the man to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation remains active, and no additional details are available at this time.
