PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Two people are in the hospital after a shooting on Patriot Way on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Portsmouth Police Department.
Officers arrived at the 1000 block of Patriot Way just before 3:30 p.m. on the report of a shooting. Officers found a man and a woman who had been shot, and they were taken to a local hospital for treatment, police say.
This is an active investigation, according to Portsmouth police.
