PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A woman received life-threatening gunshot wounds during a shooting near Choate Street early Wednesday morning, according to Portsmouth police.
Around 12:26 a.m., a shooting was reported to have taken place in the 300 Block of Choate Street. At the scene, a woman was found suffering from serious injuries — she was hospitalized as a result, according to Portsmouth police.
